Madonna and Cannibalism

TEL AVIV—Dark Catholic imagery was spliced with blood, guts and guns as Madonna burst onto the stage at Tel Aviv’s Ramat Gan stadium late on Thursday to kick off her hotly-anticipated MDNA world tour of some 30 countries.

The portentous tolling of a church bell opens the first set with bare-chested monks in burgundy robes swinging a giant golden censer in front of a giant red cross.

  1. As always, some very good points, but I would say that modern 'art' or Madonna is not about turning us into animals, it's much worse than that. Animals are morally neutral, not evil, amoral rather than immoral. Animals like cleanliness and would never produce art based on shit. That stuff is all about debasing and degrading us.

  2. Re: Modern "art"
Scott Burdick did a great set of videos:

Basic premise, modern art lacks beauty. Your bit on art reminded me of it.

  3. Smart guy I love the videos, I was in Tulsa fixing a plane last week but would be cool to drink a beer or 2 and pick your brain learn some more

  4. This was a good one Ramz. So much of contemporary art, be it high art or popular art, is destructive (they call it deconstruction) of the traditional values and culture of our people. I'm sure you heard about Madonna's Marine Le Pen smear.

    Keep goin' man.

  5. Usually I love your videos because they put a comical spin on the most pathetic of news, but I must thank you for this one. It wasn't funny like I was expecting, however, I rarely hear another person point out the lack of beauty in modern society (all aspects). The message these acts give off really is a big "fuck you" to people who appreciate life and art.
