The State of Science Fiction
The current state of science fiction is a disaster. The mainstream choices are either comic books (e.g., Star Wars) or politically correct women's porn (If You Were A Dinosaur, My Love.) Where are the authors such as Isaac Asimov or Arthur C. Clarke? Well, if they were alive today it is doubtful that such men could get a mainstream publishing contract due to their race and sex.
However, fortunately the gatekeepers no longer have a stranglehold over the industry due to the ease of self-publishing. Many independent authors are doing interesting work that does not involved transgendered Werewolves in outer space.
Once such author is John Clemmer. His novel is one of the few "hard" science fiction novels I have read recently.
A summary of his original novel. The Way of the Dhin, is below:
This book can be downloaded from Amazon for only $4. A great deal.
He has since release a sequel call "The Power of the Dhin". It enough people nominate it, Amazon will publish it and help promote it. It only takes one click to nominate it, and if his book is published by Amazon, you will get a free copy.
