Why monuments matter

Most American have forgotten the horrors of the American Civil War. An estimated 625,000 men died in that bloody war. Families were ripped apart. The nation was almost destroyed.

Despite this animosity and bitterness, the country dedicated itself to unification and healing. The South was not treated as conquered territory, but as fellow Americans. Confederate soldiers and generals were esteemed by both the North and the South. For over 150 years, no one thought of trying to desecrate the Southern heritage.

Now the ADL (Google's official censors) is spearheading the effort to topple our monuments and destroy the memory of who we are. This will not end well.

  1. It sickens me to death that the memory of honorable people is being trashed by utter trash. Simply no way is this about "combating racism and hate" but quite obviously about destroying the heritage of White Southerners and White Americans in general.

Never in my life been to the USA, and not an American citizen, but the scum-left agenda is as clear as daylight.

Yes, the South was treated as conquered territory. What do you think Reconstruction was? And most people don't really recognize why Reconstruction ended. By giving blacks the vote and preventing Confederate Whites from voting, you have State and Federal legislatures that could not maintain a functioning, constructive White society. Those in the North that instigated the War of Northern Aggression realized they needed to keep the agricultural products and natural resources flowing to maintain their wealth, so they removed the military occupation and allowed Whites to regain control of the South. However, ever since, they have treating the South as conquered territory by representing Southerners as inbred, ignorant hicks that can't possibly understand the complexities of throwing away your country and birthright. Plus, the Southern States were hobbled by the debt the North inflicted on them after the War. Virginia, for example, didn't pay off her debt until the 1960's.
